Jimmy Butler is arguably the best player in the NBA Playoffs among the ones currently battling for the title. The All-Star has been playing at a historic level this season and his run with the Miami Heat has been nothing short of successful. There is one side of him that never quits no matter how disastrous the circumstance is. And to some of his peers, even prime Michael Jordan can’t stop him right now.
Jrue Holiday of the Milwaukee Bucks has been one of the top defenders in the league for the last couple of years. He is responsible for anchoring the Bucks’ defense and was made to guard Butler in round one of the playoffs. According to Holiday, Jimmy was the only player he could not understand how to stop. And Jrue’s comparisons perfectly depict the level at which Butler is performing.
Jrue Holiday admits he got his ‘ass busted’ by Jimmy Butler
“A lot of plays Jimmy made, there was nothing that I could do. There’s nothing that anybody could do. It didn’t matter if it was Brook on him, if it was LeBron James or Michael Jordan on him. It didn’t matter who was… pic.twitter.com/bf03cP7nex

During a recent interview he said, “A lot of plays Jimmy made, there was nothing that I could do. There’s nothing that anybody could do.” He continued, “It didn’t matter if it was Brook on him, if it was LeBron James or Michael Jordan on him. It didn’t matter who was on him. Jimmy was playing at a different level.” Jrue claims that he’s never had this much trouble guarding his peers that include LeBron James and other top-level players in the NBA. Butler has changed the way how many fans initially viewed him.
Jimmy Butler summoned his inner Michael Jordan to knock off the top seed
Jimmy Butler pulled off an incredible victory against the Bucks during the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs bracket. Miami had nearly missed out on the postseason and fans were hit with the biggest curveball during round one. The Heat eliminated the Bucks team that happened to have the best record in the league this season.
As of now, Butler has been putting up 29.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game in the playoffs. Fans began to compare him to Michael Jordan as well and the GOAT’s playoff success in the 90s. A rumor regarding Butler possibly being Jordan’s secret child also went viral. Unfortunately, that’s the furthest thing from the truth.
If Jimmy Butler says he see’s a championship ahead for the Miami Heat….

Jimmy has been determined to win a title and it shows through his recent emergence. The Heat even knocked out the New York Knicks in the second round despite them being ranked higher between the two. Butler also led the Heat to three straight victories against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston lost both their home games in the mix. Now with the series set at 3-1 in favor of the Heat, Butler won’t have much of a problem closing out the series soon.
