It’s no secret that when it comes to exclusive apparel, the Swoosh gives the University of Oregon preferential attention. After all, just 50 years ago, the place was the origin of Nike. While everyone’s attention was meant to be on Oregon’s color-changing cleats, we’d be negligent if we didn’t mention the footwear the Oregon Ducks wore on the road to Autzen Stadium.
Oregon rocked LeBron James sneakers in a green and yellow hue that is a player-exclusive version. The University of Oregon’s colors of “UO Green” and “UO Yellow” shine brightly on a total of 16 colorways that have been created for the NCAA basketball season. It features the Nike LeBron 20, Zoom Freak 4, PG 6, KD 15, and Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2. The Ducks chose to wear the LeBron 20 PEs for this particular occasion.

After breaking the NBA‘s all-time scoring record in the model earlier this year, James’ 20th signature sneaker will forever be a part of basketball and NBA history. College football fans were in for a real treat with this matchup. When two of Nike’s schools compete, Nike always comes out on top.
Colorado’s defense was helpless against #10 Bo Nix’s onslaught and Shedeur Sanders was sacked seven times. Oregon easily marched up and down the field for nearly 500 yards total offense. For the first time this season, CU failed to break 300 yards.
The Oregon Ducks handed Colorado Buffaloes and Deion Sanders their first loss
Colorado’s perfect 3-0 start came to an end on Saturday with a 42-6 loss to Oregon at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore. The Ducks outgained the Buffaloes 522-199, creating a 42-0 lead through three quarters until Colorado scored late. Bo Nix of Oregon put up a terrific showing for his Heisman Trophy credentials. He did so by throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns and running for another.

“We were prepared for a battle; it didn’t end up being a battle,” Ducks’ Coach Lanning said after the game. Despite Colorado’s 3-0 start, there has been plenty of skepticism regarding the Buffaloes’ roster. A squad that was rebuilt in one summer via the transfer portal. Colorado’s most complete opponent of the season, Oregon, further exacerbated that doubt after dominating Deion Sanders’ boys on both sides of the ball.
Sanders was asked about Lanning’s remarks and if he had seen or heard anything about them. The game, according to Sanders, was “good old-fashioned butt-kicking”. Colorado has leaned into becoming America’s most loved, despised, watched, and talked-about team since September. That didn’t alter as it prepared to take the field as a 20-point underdog against a No. 10 Oregon team fighting for the Pac-12 title and a playoff berth.
