Kyrie Irving is no stranger to controversy, especially in recent times. The former NBA Champion has often been criticized by several experts, particularly by Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless. Irving has been called insensitive and a risky player to deal with on several occasions. But now the tables have turned and things aren’t looking too great on Bayless’ end.
Recently, Skip’s UNDISPUTED co-host and partner Shannon Sharpe announced that he will be parting ways with the show. FS and Sharpe agreed to a contract buyout which means the NFL legend is on his last days with UNDISPUTED. Sharpe played an integral role in the show, as he and his partner’s debates were solely based on disagreements between them.

Kyrie Irving had the last laugh after Sharpe decided to leave the show and not support Bayless anymore. He replied to a tweet saying, “Lol let me find out Skipper has sensitive tendencies.” This isn’t the only time he dug at the analyst either.
On another report regarding the split he commented using a gif with said, “This is something that should’ve happened a long time ago!” Irving certainly understands the level of insensitivity that Bayless often carries in his words. Skip is known for brutally trolling other players as well.
Why does Kyrie Irving think Skip Bayless is insensitive?
Besides Kyrie Irving, the sports entertainment legend has attacked a couple of other NBA stars as well. Most notably Russell Westbrook during his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. At that time, Russell had terrible shooting percentages which crippled the Lakers. As a result of it, Bayless repeatedly referred to him as “Westbrick” a nickname that went viral for all the wrong reasons.
Skip was forced to apologize but he didn’t seem sorry for what he had said. Similarly, Bayless has also attacked LeBron James for being old and washed while the Lakers struggled for help. But the issue that led to Shannon Sharpe’s exit involved the NFL’s Damar Hamlin, who once collapsed mid-game and had to be revived to regain consciousness.
No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.

In the tweet above, it is obvious that Bayless tried to focus the shift onto the game. Following the tweet, Sharpe did not appear on the show for an episode but addressed it in the following one. Sharpe did not hesitate to Slam Bayless for being insensitive and admitted that he hoped his partner deleted the tweet.
