LeBron James is the biggest name in the NBA that is not playing in the 2021-22 NBA Playoffs. He has been a not so silent spectator watching all the games unfold. LeBron has been watching all the games and voicing his opinions on Twitter frequently. He’s mentioned Larry Nance, Miami’s development team, Garland vs Young, and many other topics. Tonight, he used up his analytical prowess in awe of his former teammate Kyrie Irving.
Everyone has noticed his tweets to the point where he’s been invited on to ‘Inside the NBA’ to host in his time off.
LeBron James is in awe of former teammate Kyrie Irving
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were teammates for over 3 years in Cleveland. They won one of the most impressive titles in NBA history together. Whilst leaving Cleveland, Kyrie strained his relationship with LeBron James. However, when he was on the Celtics, he apologized to LeBron and they became friends again.
At least that’s what it looked like until Kyrie said that KD was the best player he ever played with and messed things up again. LeBron even revealed that Kyrie’s statement truly affected him.
LeBron seems to have buried the hatchet after seeing Kyrie’s amazing performances in the NBA playoffs so far. In the play-in game, Kyrie carried the Nets where he scored 34 and dished out 12 assists against the Cavs.
The Nets have now matched up against Boston in the first round and almost took game 1 away from the higher seed. Kyrie Irving scored 39 points in his attempt to take revenge against his former team. He was even seen flipping off the Celtics fans.
LeBron was very impressed by seeing Kyrie’s play against Boston and said, “Young God-rie is so damn good at basketball man!!! INSANE SKILL!!”

His tweet was also followed by another one asking the NBA how Kyrie did not make it into the top-75.

But Boston got the home court with a game-winning layup from Jayson Tatum who was ironically being guarded by Jayson Tatum. However, seeing the Nets almost destroy Boston’s home-court advantage has put the fright of god in the minds of their fans.
