Stephen Curry injuring his shoulder is becoming a growing concern and worry for Golden State Warriors fans. Some of us are already aware of the problems going on in the Bay area. Despite being defending champions, GSW has gotten off to a slow start this NBA season. They hold a subpar record of 15 wins and 18 losses.
All the franchise cornerstones look past their prime, with the exception of Steph, who has been playing exceptional basketball so far this season. Unfortunately, as we know, he injured his shoulder and has been sidelined for a while now. Let us take a look at the latest injury update and what the current status for the Warriors superstar is.
Stephen Curry will miss at least two more weeks for the Golden State Warriors
Fans who were hoping that Steph would be okay and good to go for the Christmas Day games will certainly be disappointed. He has missed 4 games for the Warriors as they faced the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, and Brooklyn Nets.
GSW only managed to win one of these 4 games and that was against the Toronto Raptors. The team is almost unrecognizable without its veteran leader and best three-point shooter. He injured his shoulder while reaching in to guard a driving Jalen Smith.
NBA fans are already aware of how tricky these shoulder injuries can be. Especially, if they are not treated in the right way. Thankfully, when the Warriors management recently evaluated him, they were quite happy with the progress that Steph was displaying. Nonetheless, they have decided to be cautious and rest him for at least another two weeks.

This is quite a long timeframe for his team to stay afloat without him. Additionally, they are already on a two-game losing streak to the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. Hopefully, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Jordan Poole and get a few wins in Curry’s absence.
