LeBron James had a left calf injury on the 12th of November, which kept him out of the Portland Trail Blazers game, but he was quite active off the court. Formula 1 drivers Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc met the legendary LA Lakers player and all-time league scoring leader.
LeBron fans could not hold back their excitement as they took to many social media sites to put forward their input. Many fans claimed that he did not know who they were and only knew the British F1 star, Lewis Hamilton. One fan wrote, “LeBron doesn’t know who they are”.

James was able to obtain a F1 jersey from Leclerc and a helmet from Ocon. Ocon and Leclerc left for the United States, where this weekend’s race in Las Vegas, where Formula One will be hosted for the first time since 1982, will be the second-to-last round of the championship.
However, LeBron could not feature in the game that the F1 drivers attended. That did not make them unhappy as they did receive a personal meet-up with the “King” himself to make up for him not playing on the court. LeBron also posted their image on social media with the caption “Vroom Vroom”.

James was strolling behind the camera and made a funny noise like a race car while the 27-year-old Esteban Ocon was deep in conversation in an interview. He holds his hand out to the Frenchman as well, who grinned before giggling at James’s gesture.
