There haven’t been too many updates on Bronny James and his health as the basketball family continues to wait on results. A couple of weeks ago, the 18-year-old suffered from a cardiac arrest that sent him to the emergency room. He was at a basketball workout at USC’s Galen Center when the incident took place. The University’s athletics and medical staff quickly came to his aid while Bronny remained unconscious.
Shortly after he was admitted, James was removed from the intensive care unit. Medical professionals gave him the required treatment to maintain stability and bring him back to normal. Bronny’s doctors appreciated the efforts taken by USC’s staff to ensure his safety. A week after getting admitted, the youngster made his way back home. Bronny’s quick recovery was a sign of relief for fans, friends, and family around him.
LeBron James and his family were grateful to everyone involved in the situation. The Los Angeles Lakers legend personally thanked his fans via Twitter for extending their support. James has been updating the world now and then.
The James family was recently spotted outside a restaurant in Los Angeles with Bronny James. LeBron also shared a video of his eldest offspring playing the grand piano. Bronny seems to be in great condition but the underlying cardiac issue is what concerns people.
Could LeBron James’ visit to Mayo Clinic mean Bronny James is in danger?
Bronny James’ consulting cardiologist earlier stated that the athlete was gradually improving daily. However, it was revealed that tests are still being run to determine what caused the cardiac arrest. Several fans and supporters have blamed the COVID-19 vaccination while others believe it could be because of blunt trauma to the chest. However, such instances have never had great outcomes for an athlete’s career. Shareef O’Neal is a standing example of this instance.
LeBron James was recently spotted outside of the No.1 ranked hospital in the United States. The King visited Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. However, is unclear whether LeBron visited the hospital for himself or Bronny James. This led fans to a social media meltdown as one said, “My Goat better be ok.” Another fan said, “The best cardiologist hospital are in Cleveland and then LA.”

According to a recent report from Sports Illustrated, trusted Dr. Brian Sutterer claimed there is a chance of Bronny may never playing basketball again. Sutterer is widely known for analyzing athlete injuries and health scares. He claimed that if the doctors aren’t able to point out the exact cause of the cardiac arrest, then there will have to be a discussion about Bronny’s future in the sport. Sutterer also stated that this could have lasting effects on his career moving forward as well.
