LeBron James is one of the best leaders in the NBA. His history of guiding championship teams and winning at a high level has always shown that he’s a tough opponent for many. Especially during this season, the Los Angeles Lakers were in deep waters. Most of us even excluded them from postseason contention earlier in the season. But the dynamic is completely different from what it was during the regular season.
In Game 4 of the Western Conference Semi-finals, the Lakers were looking forward to taking a two-game lead against the defending champions. LA hosted the Golden State Warriors at the Crypto.com Arena and fans were ecstatic that the Lakers are in the lead. In attendance at Game 4 was Hollywood Actor Chris Pratt. LeBron James acknowledged Pratt’s presence in the building and greeted him with an embrace.

Chris Pratt recently starred in Marvel’s hit movie series, The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 as a lead character named Star-Lord. The movie has received great reviews from Marvel enthusiasts and movie lovers worldwide. Just like Star Lord’s intergalactic team, James is also considered a veteran superhero on the Lakers squad. Things are looking great for LA as they are expected to reach the next stage in the playoffs, over the Warriors.
LeBron James and the Lakers could possibly end the Warriors’ championship reign
Dub Nation is probably very upset with the way things are going on for them. The Lakers are about to steal whatever hope that the Warriors have left to retain the title. With an incredible Game 4 victory, LA is currently 3-1 in the series. A very similar scenario took place between LeBron James and Stephen Curry during the 2016 NBA Finals. James and the Cavaliers were down 1-3 but ultimately pulled off a massive Game 7 victory for the title.
Curry did everything he could to keep the Warriors leveled with LA. He scored 31 points along with 10 rebounds and 14 assists. The 4x NBA Champion was the only one among the veterans to have a good game. Klay Thompson struggled from the field shooting 3 of 11 attempts, finishing with only 9 points in 41 minutes. The Warriors also missed a couple of important free throws that could’ve changed the direction of the game.
James excelled in that area, making 100% of their free throw attempts. Bron finished with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists which was backed by 23 points and 15 boards from Anthony Davis. Austin Reaves also played a very important role offensively, as he finished with 21 points. The Lakers are most certainly better than what they initially were. However, with the Warriors headed back to the Bay Area, the series could change its course easily.
