The NBA just released their top-selling NBA jersey. The leader of the jerseys sold was none other than King LeBron James. The list was followed by the 2 times MVP Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
It’s no surprise that both Curry and LeBron are at the top of jerseys sold as they have dominated this list for a long time. Curry and LeBron have been having a sensational MVP-worthy season.
They are also the highest voted All-Stars among the fans. They are also the only two players who have received over 6 Million votes. The last time LeBron James didn’t lead the list was in 2017-18, Curry took the top-selling NBA jersey crown that year.

Down far the list we see Kevin Durant at the 4th spot and Luka Doncic at number 5. However, what we don’t see in the whole list is the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. This is surprising as a player of that caliber should be on the list.
Ja Morant’s fan base has been increasing this year. He climbed to the 7th spot on the list after being 14th last year. Even rookie of the year Lamelo Ball made the list for the first time in his career.
The most surprising name on the list is the New York Knicks RJ Barret. He came into the league alongside Zion Williamson and hasn’t been able to perform at a high level since he joined the league.
Why LeBron James is still at the Number 1 spot?
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar holds the number 1 spot even in his 19th year in the NBA. It has a lot to do with him changing his number from 23 to 6 this year.
The King wanted to change his number since AD joined the team. He wanted to give his number 23 to AD as a welcoming gift, as AD wore No.23 in the Pelicans.
However, Nike didn’t validate the decision as all the jerseys were in production with 23 on James’s jersey. Thus the 4 times MVP changed his number this year to his Miami Heat jersey “6”.
Thus, LeBron James changing his number will only lead to more sales as the fans want to show their support to their favorite player and their favorite franchise.
