USC Trojans Coach Andy Enfield and players praise Bronny James’ standout performance
Bronny James made sure to show off a dominant version of himself on the court against Oregon State. Despite his remarkable efforts to lead the team, the USC Trojans fell to Oregon 86-70. However, head coach Andy Enfield felt that it was only right to appreciate the version Bronny brought of himself to the court. He claimed that James was slowly starting to break out of a shell of safety.
Enfield said, “We feel comfortable playing him more minutes. And as long as he can keep that energy up, I thought he did a great job tonight. He looks more comfortable each game.” His teammate, Boogie Ellis also recognized the importance of having a player like Bronny on the roster. The senior guard was very appreciative and respectful of the lengths Bronny has gone to get back to the game.
“Bronny’s a great player. I know he’s going to make plays, make things happen. He brings a lot of energy for us, and he’s been great on defense. To see what he’s been through and to come back and play like this, it shows how great he is. I’m just glad that he’s playing well and everybody else got to continue to play well with him,” Ellis said. Boogie also helped Bronny James by scoring 20 points to lead the Trojans in scoring.
