JaMychal Green might have just taken a shot at Ja Morant in light of the recent controversies surrounding the Grizzlies star. As we all know by now, Morant has been put under the microscope after being accused of physically assaulting a 17-year-old boy and producing a gun at the scene.
These are quite serious accusations and Ja might have made the situation worse by taking the matter jovially. Things have gotten so bad that the former Grizzlies player is now taking a shot at Ja. Let us take a look at what JaMychal is saying now that Morant is expected to be suspended by the Memphis Grizzlies for two games after his actions.
JaMychal Green wants Ja Morant to be locked up for his actions
It turns out that JaMychal might not be the biggest fan of Morant’s. To those who do not know, he is a player currently with the Golden State Warriors and spent a significant amount of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies. Albeit before they drafted Morant.

Green shared an Instagram story with the caption, “Lock his as* up!!” and soon got the attention of NBA fans. While several still wondered whom he could be talking about, the majority felt that he was clearly talking about Ja, “Lock Ja up for whaa?” However, some also feel he could be referring to Anthony Lamb, another NBA player who was recently accused of sexual assault.

Perhaps Morant took things too far by flashing a gun on an Instagram live stream while caught in the midst of his controversy. Several NBA analysts have pointed out that there is simply no place for behavior like this in the league. There is no doubt that his response played a role in his own organization deciding to suspend him for 2 games. This is a good move since the punishment could have been worse if the league got directly involved.
We all know who he talkin bout 😭😭

While some fans are in agreement with Green, one could argue that he and other fans are simply speaking out of emotion and in the heat of the moment. Morant has apologized and been punished by his organization. Nonetheless, JaMychal felt that wasn’t enough and that he should be imprisoned for getting into a fight, something that NBA players do on occasion themselves. In any case, all of this should just increase the sense of rivalry between the Warriors and Grizzlies if they meet again in the NBA playoffs.
