Miami Heat on Wednesday before the game against the Houston Rockets was fined by the NBA for violating injury reporting rules. The NBA fined the Miami-based franchise $25,000 USD after failing to make correct reports about players’ game availability statuses. This happened before the Heat vs Thunder matchup on Wednesday night. Hilariously, the Heat have listed all of its 17 players on the injury report.
Miami has a lot of players injured this season and is one of the most injured teams this season. The entire roster of the Heat is missing games due to injury. But this move from Miami is simply hilarious. After getting a $25,000 USD fine they are taking things seriously by avoiding any future fines from the NBA. It raises a question who is fit for the Heat to make the lineup? Our guess, Probably no one.
Per NBA: “The Miami Heat has been fined $25,000 for violating league injury reporting rules. The Heat failed to disclose an accurate game availability status for several players prior to its game vs. Oklahoma City on Dec. 14 at Paycom Center.”

Miami has injured all its stars, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Victor Oladipo, Duncan Robinson and the list goes on. Only Gabe Vincent is currently out for the Heat, the rest are pretty much probable. The Heat are having a turbulent season with 15 wins and 15 losses in their 30 games so far. A 3 game-winning streak is something nice to have at the moment considering the injury list.
The Miami Heat are petty as hell lmfao. Got fined $25k for the injury rules, then listed every player on the injury list lmao. pic.twitter.com/ojF7uqUqo2

The Heat face the San Antonio Spurs tonight. This could be the game the Heat have been looking for. The San Antonio Spurs have been a disaster according to their standards this season. They have won just 9 of their 28 games so far and will be going in the game against the Heat with a 3-7 run. The Spurs, however, won against the Heat when they met last Sunday.
Is Jimmy Butler playing tonight against The Spurs?
Jimmy Butler has been carrying a knee injury for quite some time now, but that hasn’t been much of a problem to completely rule out of games. Butler has been instrumental to the team’s success on the court. He has the highest average in points per game and assists per game. He is averaging a total of 21.6 points and 6.0 assists for the Heat.
Jimmy is listed as day-to-day by ESPN and on the Heat’s injury report. So it’s likely he’ll play for the Heat tonight. A week ago Jimmy put up 30 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds in the loss against the Spurs. The Heat will be looking to add to their winning streak and may be out on revenge for the last time out. It will be a headache for head coach Erik Spoelstra on the line-up for tonight.
