It was quite the impressive battle between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks were at risk of losing Giannis Antetokounmpo but he managed to get back on the floor despite hamstring tendonitis. The Bucks managed to conclude the game with a 115-108 victory against the Nets.

A couple of players had notable performances, especially Damian Lillard. The 8x All-Star helped control the game and bring the Bucks’ lead to 20 points during the second quarter. But Cam Thomas eventually helped the Nets bring the score closer to the Bucks. But it still wasn’t enough since Lillard had a few important baskets that helped maintain the lead.

Lillard led the team with 30 points, 12 assists, and 3 rebounds shooting 11-22 from the field (3-3 from deep). Antetokounmpo only scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

Brook Lopez recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds while Malik Beasley contributed 16 points. AJ Green led the bench in scoring with 15 points including 2 rebounds. All five of his field goals were three-pointers. Bobby Portis did a phenomenal job on defense coming off the bench.

The Nets were crafty on the floor, however, they lacked a lot of help on offense when it came to their second unit. They shot 44.6% from the field, 29.5% from deep, and 81.3% from the free throw line. Mikal Bridges led the pack with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

He was backed by 22 points and 9 rebounds from Nic Claxton. Cam Thomas, who was a star during the final minutes concluded with 21 points. Cameron Johnson finished with 17 points shooting 4-9 from deep while recording 8 rebounds and 4 assists along with it. Their bench units weren’t as great as their starting lineup. This is something they will have to work on in the future.
