Khris Middleton is one of the key players in the Milwaukee Bucks. Middleton and Giannis have always been a constant duo for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Additionally, Khris is a gifted shooter of the ball. This makes him a good teammate to the Greek Freak. The Milwaukee Bucks have been matched up with the Chicago Bulls in the first round.
Khris Middleton will not play in game 5
Khris suffered an MCL strain in game 2 of the Bucks-Bulls series. The injury occurred 5 minutes into the 4th quarter. This spells disaster for the Milwaukee Bucks who had to play without their second-best player. Additionally, Middleton is one of the few clutch offensive players on the Bucks. Therefore losing him means losing significant offensive firepower.
The Milwaukee Bucks managed to defeat the Chicago Bulls in games 3 and 4. They now have the Bulls in a 3-1 deficit. However, Khris Middleton will not play in game 5. It is still unclear when he will return.
The Milwaukee Bucks still have several offensive options. Grayson Allen, Jrue Holiday, and Bobby Portis have filled the void. However, they will definitely need Middleton at some point during this season. Grayson Allen has been scoring more than 20 ppg consistently. However, it is unclear whether he and Jrue Holiday can sustain the scoring load.
