Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and the Miami Heat face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. However, Lowry has been out for the majority of this postseason with a hamstring injury.
The Miami Heat managed to take game 1. Be that as it may, Lowry is instrumental to the team’s offense. Only he and PJ Tucker have championship experience on the Heat.
Hamstring injuries can be tricky. Each player responds differently to injuries and has varying recovery speeds. Therefore, can we expect to see Kyle Lowry back in game 2?.
Kyle Lowry is ruled out for game 2 vs Boston Celtics
Kyle Lowry did not play in game 1 of this series. He is ruled out for game 2 as well. The veteran point guard was brought to the Miami Heat for his leadership and experience. However, he has not lived up to the expectation so far.
One cannot be quick to judge Kyle. He is 36 years old, clearly at the back end of his career. Therefore, he shouldn’t really be blamed for this hamstring injury. Additionally, he has never been in the best shape body-wise. He has always been a few pounds on the heavier side.
The Miami Heat have a deep roster. Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Caleb Martin have stepped up in Lowry’s absence. Jimmy Butler has entered playoff mode. Therefore, he managed to help the Heat win game 1.
The Heat may be doing fine. However, they will need Kyle to be healthy if they wish to make a deep-season push. This is because of his experience and presence. Additionally, he is the best playmaker on the Heat.
Without him, there has been more of an offensive load on Butler. Therefore, the Heat will look forward to his return at the soonest. A timeline of when he is to return is still uncertain. We hope Kyle gets back on the court at the soonest to help the Heat.
