LeBron James is not having a season he’d like to remember. The Los Angeles Lakers are the 9th seed. They are closer to the 13th seed than they are to the 8th seed in the West. In their last 11 games, they’ve won just 2. They were already barely hanging on to a play-in spot. However, with their current form, they seem to slip out of the playoffs and into the lottery soon.
This losing is not something LeBron is used to. The emotions boil over and LeBron has started to get annoyed. It’s not just with him, but with his other Lakers teammates as well. The Russell Westbrook ‘Westbrick’ situation springs to mind. LeBron James had his moment of anger today with a tweet he put out today.
LeBron James and his Tweet of frustration
Tonight the Brooklyn Nets took on the Philadelphia 76ers. The Nets have begun their climb back to the playoffs. After beating the hottest team in the NBA currently, the Brooklyn Nets have put the league on notice. Today the Nets beat the 76ers by nearly 30 points.
Among all the highlights, the one that caught the attention of LeBron is a play from the first quarter. With 1:11 seconds left Joel Embiid receives the ball in the paint. Kevin Durant is guarding Embiid and Embiid shoves Durant. Joel picks up the foul but KD was on the floor. KD got up and got into a verbal altercation with Embiid. However, no technical fouls were given out.
LeBron James was enraged with no calls being called and took his frustrations to Twitter by putting this Tweet out.
I love that the refs let KD and JE talk that talk to each other and didn’t TECH them up! That’s DOPE!! Understanding the assignment

LeBron uses his platform to express his frustrations most times but not always about the game. But with how this season has been going, LeBron has reasons to lose his cool. The Lakers depend on the performance and passion of their team. The more demoralized the Lakers get, the more they lose. However, LA needs to get their emotions to make it to the playoffs.
