After Sunday night’s altercation between Rudy Gobert and Kyle Anderson, the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green sought revenge. The Minnesota Timberwolves had a physical altercation between Gobert and Anderson on the bench during the second quarter against the New Orleans Pelicans. A verbal argument was going on between Gobert and Anderson before things got physical. Gobert ended up punching Anderson in the chest and was sent home by the team.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Green instantly sought out revenge on the Frenchman. Back in October last year, Green made headlines after punching his teammate, Jordan Poole during a training session. The video of the incident went viral after Green knocked the lights out of Poole. Gobert took shots at Green for punching his teammate during the time. “Insecurity is always loud,” Gobert tweeted on his official Twitter account.
Karma hits Rudy Gobert as Draymond Green fires shots at him
After what Gobert did on Sunday night, Green found the perfect opportunity to take revenge on the Frenchman. Green took to Twitter and posted the same sentence Gobert did 5 months ago when he punched Poole. “Insecurity is always loud…” Green tweeted on his official Twitter account. Gobert will be regretting that he taunted Green for what he did last year, only to do the same thing 5 months later.

The 4x NBA champion has never shied away from staying silent for too long. Draymond Green will have an exciting topic for his upcoming episode on his podcast. It’s funny how karma hits back on people, and this time it was Gobert, who took shots at Green last year. Green apologized to Poole after the incident and didn’t return to the training complex. However, a week after the incident, the Warriors coach, Steve Kerr decided not to suspend him.
Gobert will serve a one-game suspension and is expected to return if the Wolves lose to the Lakers and play another play-in game, or advance into the Western Conference playoffs, sources said. https://t.co/JMSdwm7P2o

It is a similar situation Gobert and the Timberwolves find themselves in. The Warriors, in the situation with Green, decided to take disciplinary actions against him and imposed a fine on him. As for the Timberwolves, they are facing the same situation with Gobert and they are taking action as well. Gobert is expected to serve a one-match suspension as per ESPN sources.
Gobert will not play against the Lakers in the play-in tournament after being suspended for one game. This will be a major boost for the Lakers considering how impactful Gobert is in the paint, with his defensive prowess and rebounding abilities.
