However, the incident of flashing a gun on social media made the Memphis Grizzlies take strict action.
Morant attended mental health counseling after he was suspended for 8 games in the NBA. He made a public apology and underwent counseling. However, things looked normal for a while, until he made yet another controversial decision. Morant once again flashed a gun on social media, which angered the Grizzlies. They suspended Morant from all team-related activities, and NBA is still investigating the incident.

Jackson, who brings in line a bunch of college basketball players. The movie was a huge hit and collected $76 million at the Box Office. Morant is certainly making huge headlines, similar to the character in the movie Timo Cruz. Who does not pay attention to his life on and off the court. Coach Carter indulges the players, that their performances on the court are not everything. The players need to be the same way outside the court as well, being good and contributing to society. That the players have responsibilities outside the court.

With severe punishment for Morant on the way, it wouldn’t do him any good if he doesn’t learn from it. Basketball fans are aware of the movie “Coach Carter,” where the new basketball coach (Samuel L. Jackson) teaches discipline through rigorous training methods. Fans believe that only he can do a good job at bringing him back on track in his professional career.
In the movie, Coach Carter makes the players go through a huge amount of drills if the players break the contract.
