When Shaquille O’Neal isn’t on Inside The NBA giving hell to Charles Barkley, you can often find him on Twitter feuding with the fans. He can also be found on Instagram telling Rudy Gobert that he can’t stop him. Ever since he stopped playing, Shaq has made a career out of being a public figure with the hottest of takes.
Just recently, he made the bold claim that He and his Lakers would have beat the 2017 Warriors and MJ’s Bulls. Now, we all love Shaq and respect everything that he has achieved. But, some of the things he says are just plain wrong.
Shaquille O’Neal believes no one can win big without a superstar
This fine morning, Shaq took to Twitter and replied to a fan who said that even with all of his stats, he would’ve never won a championship without Kobe. And to this Shaq said that no one can win without a superstar on their team. Shaq also proceeded to call this fan dumb and asked him to STFU but that’s just Shaq being himself. Now, getting back to what he said.
no person can win without another star big dummy how many would magic have without kareem how many would kenny smith have without hakeem wtf u talking about i hate dumb ass people enjoy my stats and stf up

Well, He’s wrong he must’ve forgotten about the time he lost the finals to a Pistons squad that had no clear star on the team. The 2003-04 Pistons were just a highly efficient team made up of individuals that were good at the game of basketball. And, since we’re on the topic we need to mention The Dallas Mavericks.
Back in 2011 Dirk Nowitzki and The Dallas Mavericks took on The Miami Heat in the finals. The Heat had a prime LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. But, much to everyone’s surprise, they fell to the Mavericks in 6 games. This is another example of a player winning big without another superstar on the team.
Shaquille O’Neal may have been very good at the game of basketball, but he isn’t very good with his takes. Despite that, almost 10 years after his retirement he is still an excellent entertainer. And, basketball fans haven’t seen a Threepeat since Shaq, Kobe, and their Lakers.
