In sports, there is a lot of bickering and rivalries that go on from time to time. Especially in the game of basketball, players and or teams are often at each other throats to see who is better. Players go against players, coaches go against coaches, or sometimes, both entities fight each other to show who is dominant. And if there’s one NBA athlete who has experienced it all, it is LeBron James.
The 19x All-Star has been around the game for a while now. So to say he knows about everything that happens during a game is a considerably fair statement or assumption. This season, James is making his 21st appearance while holding a lot of greatness to his name. The King has a lot of people trying to throw him off his game. But he remains focused on the ultimate prize, which is the NBA Championship.

Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Houston Rockets. Both teams are having quite the struggle to maintain a good record in the Western Conference. During the game, LeBron James and Rockets Head Coach, Ime Udoka were at loggerheads. Ukoda allegedly told James, “Soft a** boy.” James took note of it and replied to Udoka, “Don’t use that word so loosely.” While the courtside video picked up on what James said, it isn’t clear what Ime stated before the Laker retaliated.
LeBron James addressed the conversation between him and Ime Udoka
After the exchange, the referees ejected Ime Udoka from the game and slapped LeBron James with a tech. The Rockets went on to lose miserably despite the Lakers having an underwhelming performance themselves. Following the game, LeBron addressed the issue by saying, “We were talking about how much we enjoyed Thanksgiving.” The 38-year-old wore a sly smile on his face knowing that it wasn’t what happened during the game.

Simultaneously, Udoka also addressed what was said. He told the media, “They didn’t like what they heard, the refs.” There is one thing in common in every LeBron James feud that has taken place of late. Neither player has ever actually addressed the words exchanged between them. This was something that happened between James and the Rockets’ Dillon Brooks, who was with the Memphis Grizzlies last season.
However, in 35 minutes, James recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. However, Anthony Davis was the true star of the matchup as he recorded 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists. Defensively, the Lakers were extremely dominant, recording 11 steals and 7 blocks. While offensively, it was a one-man show.
