Fans are taking shots at LeBron James after he made sent out a tweet that could be viewed as insulting to every single player in the league. As we all know, the King is in Year 20 and is still considered by many to be the face of the NBA.
The Los Angeles Lakers star is currently sidelined and rehabilitating a foot injury. Nonetheless, LeBron has been active on social media and kept his virtual presence alive. His statement has enraged fans to the extent that some are deeming that he is now an alcoholic and should think twice before making stupid statements. Let us take a closer look at what he said and understand the situation better.
Fans attack LeBron James for claiming Bronny James is better than other NBA players
Perhaps the King really was out of line with this one. All NBA fans are aware that LeBron has 2 boys. The eldest, Bronny James is only a few years away from making his NBA debut, at the most. His father has expressed a sincere and real desire to play with his son on the same team several times in the past.
All of that is well and good. However, LeBron garnered a significant amount of criticism after sending out a tweet claiming that Bronny is already better than the athletes we can witness playing in the NBA, “Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. Sh*t lightweight hilarious.”

NBA fans were quite shocked that James was already so certain about his son. While Bronny is developing into a good player, there isn’t much dispute that he still has a long way to go before being compared to NBA players. It is fully possible that LeBron was simply complimenting his son and got carried away in a moment of emotion.
😂 you know bronny isn’t that good when @KingJames is starting the drafting campaign more than a yr in advance

However, fans are not viewing it like that. Instead, they felt that he is already starting a marketing campaign for his son a year before he enters the league. This would only mean that Bronny isn’t ready, “you know bronny isn’t that good when @King James is starting the draft campaign more than a yr in advance.”

Some even took personal shots at LeBron, “Stay off the Lobos LeAlcoholic.” This is referring to the fact that LeBron is also constantly promoting a brand of alcohol called Lobos via his social media. In any case, we will find out whether Bronny is actually on par with other NBA players when he finally gets drafted into the league.
