Steph Curry bugs Seth Curry on what it’s like to play in Charlotte
Steph Curry was born in Akron Ohio but raised in Charlotte, North Carolina for a good portion of his life. His father, Dell Curry played for the Hornets between 1986 to 1998. He grew up alongside his brother Seth, and sister Sydel Curry. Following a return win against the Hornets, Steph was asked if he’d ever thought about playing for Charlotte before retiring. He said, “I have thoughts all the time. But no, I want to stay and that’s something I’ve talked about. There is a curiosity of what it would be like to play here [in Charlotte] for sure.”

He added, ”I feel like I ask Seth a lot of questions of what it’s like to be back here. Just cause you’re so familiar with the city, [and] the history of the organization. I’m surely used to getting calls for tickets every night. That’s probably a little overwhelming but that’s it.” Seth currently plays for the Hornets. He was traded to Charlotte earlier this season.
Steph Curry wants to remain with the Warriors until the end
But as Steph Curry said, he’s focused on staying in the Bay Area for as long as he is in the league. It has been 15 seasons since the Warriors drafted him into the league. Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have become the greatest faces of the franchise at this point. During an interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews, Curry stated his desire to play for the Warriors until the end.
He said, “That’s always been a motivator for us. I think the way that we talk about it is, [that] we want to not only end our career as a Warrior, we want to continue to compete at a very high level. But you want to end it the right way.” Curry has been through the worst with the Warriors. The ongoing season stands as a perfect testimony to how tightly knit the core trio is.
