The Golden State Warriors played game 6 of the NBA finals in rival territory. The Boston Celtics hosted the NBA finals for the last time this season with their backs against the wall. They were down 3-2 in the finals and lost in front of their home fans because of ‘Bully’ Stephen Curry.
Steph Curry has never had the opportunity to win the finals MVP, before this season, no matter how many great games and records he breaks. This NBA final has been his best case. And he cemented that by winning game 6 and playing well in the closeout game. His legacy had been forced to be underrated due to that. This is why he had to be prime MVP Steph from tip-off in the TD garden.
Stephen Curry is a ‘bully’?
Stephen Curry became beloved in 2015 after his first MVP campaign. A small guard with a baby face that could take down LeBron James felt too relatable. Chef Curry also goes by nicknames like the baby-faced assassin that he got out of love. He’s never been a violent player, just adequately cocky. But since all the hate he got after the Warriors dynasty, he’s started to get comfortable in the role of the ‘villain’.
“I’m the petty king…I use it as entertainment and just have fun with it. The more you’re on the stage, you realize the attention that’s on you, how much it means to each fan base, and how much it means to the cities. So, you can’t really be surprised by anything.”

Steph hears all the talk, all the boos, all the hate and uses it to put on a show. Boston fans certainly dislike him at the moment. But hate would ensue when the Warriors ended it all in game 6. Seeing this new side of him has even taken his die-hard fans by surprise. But as long as it works, they love it.
With his first finals MVP now under his belt, there is not much that’s keeping him out of the debate of the best Point guards of all time. Will they be able to continue the run of their dynasty next season as well?
