Stephen Curry had a rather underwhelming night in Game 5 of the NBA finals against the Boston Celtics. All the eyes in the arena were on him after that performance in Game 4. As he entered the press conference room after Game 5, there was something that caught the attention of everyone there.
He was wearing a shirt that said “Ayesha Curry CAN Cook”. This came across as something unexpected for many. When he was asked for the backstory by a reporter, Curry didn’t budge and told him “You gotta ask around the room and ask Twitter”.
Steph’s response to the critics also suggests that he sees fans’ comments about him & his family more than any member of the press. He waited until the end of the game, after helping the Golden State Warriors take the lead in the series against the Celtics.
Stephen Curry stands up for his wife against signs in Fenway
Curry wore the shirt to respond to a sign outside Game On, a bar in Boston. The sign read “Ayesha Curry Can’t Cook”. It was placed next to another board that said “Deuce Tatum > Riley Curry,”. The signs were in fact posing as something fun against the Currys. They were, however, put before Game 4, which was one of Steph’s greatest performances. This raises the question of whether the Chef was firing back at his haters with his game.

Steph and Ayesha Curry have been married for over a decade. Her culinary career began in 2014 with the launch of her YouTube channel, ‘Little Lights of Mine.’ Ayesha has been creating an empire by sharing recipes with millions of social media fans across the world.
The Warriors star’s spouse has just begun to broadcast food and lifestyle advice. She also has a Food Network show called “Ayesha’s Homemade,”. This is where she provides her viewers with food ideas, together with parenting advice. In addition to that, she has also just released “The Seasoned Life,” a cookbook that has received positive feedback.
Even with a busy career, she finds time to attend big games to support her husband. Game 6 will move back to Boston and hopefully, this rivalry between Steph Curry and the Celtics fans continues until the end of the series. The Warriors have a chance to end it all in the upcoming game by winning the NBA title.
