Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green were a part of the Golden State Warriors Dynasty. They managed to win back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. However, Kevin Durant soon left the Golden State Warriors to enhance his own legacy.
Draymond Green and Kevin Durant have been going at it back and forth through social media. The topic of conflict is concerning why Steph doesn’t have an NBA Finals MVP.
This very issue has grown and caused both KD and Draymond to feel the need to justify their own opinions. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that this issue will not be easy to put to bed.
Draymond Green and Kevin Durant have been at it for days
Draymond has recently become a podcast show host. On it, he discusses NBA issues from the perspective of the players. Therefore, he discussed Steph and KD on his show.
He explained that teams would usually double team Steph almost 7 times more than Kevin Durant. He went on to explain how it is necessary for the “new media” to explain what the box score does not show.
Green concluded by saying that people who say Steph needs a finals MVP aren’t the ones who know much about basketball. Kevin Durant responded to this on Twitter saying “In my opinion, this is 100% false“.
The drama should have ended there. However, Draymond stroked the coals of the fire by replying with the following.” You have to listen to full takes and not snippets before you get baited into responding champ“.
KD isn’t the kind of person to let anyone have the last say. Therefore he quickly responded with ” I appreciate the compliments but I disagree with what you said about the double teams.. that’s all. I love the show“.

It has become clear that KD had a problem with only a part of what Draymond was saying. Therefore, he felt the need to respond. Perhaps, KD was actually guarded harder. It is simply a matter of perspective. However, these stars have made this into an issue as we head into the NBA Finals
