The Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies fixtures have proven to be entertaining in the last few seasons. There seems to be an ongoing rivalry among these players, although Stephen Curry blatantly disagreed to acknowledge it. The Grizzlies and Warriors players have gone back and forth. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are the most recent ones to get into it with their opponents.
Recently, the Warriors faced the Grizzlies on the road. Their disappointing away form continued as they lost yet again. The game ended 119-133, thanks to 31 points and 26 points from Jarren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane respectively. Although Xavier Tillman and Dillon Brooks could not help much in the scoring department, they were very well the standout performers for the Grizzlies on the night as well.

The Grizzlies restricted Steph to only 16 points on the night, and Klay could not put up more than 14 points. It was certainly not the defending champions’ day. Toward the end of the game, Klay was spotted doing a gesture toward the Memphis Grizzlies bench. It seemed to have caught the attention of NBA fans on social media.
Klay Thompson gets blasted after taunting the Grizzlies bench
Thompson has never backed down from an opportunity to get into it with the Grizzlies players. After winning the 2022 NBA title, Thompson slammed Jarren Jackson Jr. for his tweet.
He said, “There’s this one player on the Grizzlies who tweeted ‘Strength In Numbers’ after they beat us in the regular season… I can’t wait to retweet that thing — freakin’ bum. I had to watch that, like this freakin’ clown. You gonna mock us? You ain’t never been here before bruh… Hold that.”
This season, Klay was visibly going back and forth with the Grizzlies players as well. Recently, he was taunting their bench with a ‘4 rings’ gesture. It hasn’t gone down too well with NBA fans, who have slammed Thompson for his antics. A fan tweeted, “4 rings don’t matter Klay, that’s the past let’s see what you do this year.”

They need to stop talking about the 4 wins, those are in the past, in the present the Warriors are a .500 team

Dillon Brooks on the stuff with Klay Thompson: “He’s got 4 rings, that’s all he was saying. Our motivation is, we want a ring.” — and he understands it’s a process
