Vanessa Bryant lost both her husband Kobe and daughter Gianna on the same day. It was one of those days when the world realized how cruel death can be. Kobe and Gigi‘s autopsy reports clearly suggested that they truly had the worst last few seconds of their lives moments before they passed away. It is heartbreaking to realize that they are gone, even three years after the helicopter crash.
Kobe and Gianna suffered major burns to their bodies, and the impact they faced was also one of the main causes of their deaths. With that said, it was shocking that an LA deputy, Joey Cruz, decided to capture images of the crash site. According to multiple sources, he even showed them to a bartender days after the horrific crash.
Vanessa Bryant once disclosed she had panic attacks thinking about Kobe and Gigi’s crash photos
In a testimony, Vanessa admitted that she understandably did not have the best time thinking about her beloved husband and daughter’s crash photos. Moreover, it left her baffled when people referred to Kobe and Gigi as “piles of meat, gumbo, and hamburger meat,” which was certainly unacceptable. This was when she filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles County.

After months and months of investigation, LA County has finally decided to settle with Vanessa. According to multiple reports, Kobe’s wife will receive nearly $29 million through the settlement. This will put an end to the lawsuit forever. LA County’s lead lawyer mentioned that it “resolves all outstanding issues related to pending legal claims in state court, future claims by the Bryant children.”
Although Kobe and Vanessa’s fans will believe that justice has been served, there are a group people who are unhappy with the multi-million dollar settlement. Fans took it to Twitter to express their varying opinions. One even wrote, “This is taxpayer money.”

Take the money from the cops pension plans

Some believe that the money should not come from the tax payers as they claim that the jury should deduct it from the pension funds of the officers. In addition to that, some even claim that Vanessa should donate the money to Kobe’s charity foundation. Interestingly, that was what she did when she received about $15 million some time ago. She has not revealed her plans with the millions received now, but we can expect her to do it soon.
