LeBron James has never been afraid to show the world his true colors. Be it on the court if he had a problem with someone or something, or even if it is about the ways of the world, Bron is always expressing himself. One of the best parts about his character is that he has almost no filter. But sometimes, it tends to attract a lot of online trolling and people cross the line at times. Regardless, LeBron is always… you guessed it, expressing.
In an interview during team practice back in 2018, a reporter asked LeBron James an off-topic question. He was new around the Los Angeles Lakers media and people simply wanted to get to know him better. The reporter asked what he was listening to during practice. He replied, “Today’s white boys Wednesdays. Seriously. You’re laughing, but today’s white boys Wednesdays, so only white boy music day, which I enjoy.”

“I love Eminem, but it wasn’t just Eminem. We had a lot of good music today. Luke and Mad Max, all those guys. It was a good day!” he continued. The media figures were taking it as a joke but LeBron wanted them to realize that it was a thing that is actually followed. “It is a universal thing, right? It’s just like taco Tuesdays. It’s a [expletive] thing. You guys look at me crazy when I said it,” he asked the reporters.
The Lakers superstar is always rocking some music in the gym. He has always shown support towards artists like Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, and many others.
Who is LeBron James’ favorite rapper?
LeBron James has always mentioned that he loves to listen to Hip-Hop music. This genre was booming during the 90s and early 2000s which is when Bron was young and coming up in the league. It turns out, he liked a couple of the old-school artists. According to Rock the Bells, the two of his favorite rap albums of all time are “‘It Was Written’ by Nas and ‘The Black Album’ by Jay-Z.”
The 4x NBA League MVP has often used tap lyrics as tweets to express his thoughts and emotions at particular moments. Fans often spot him rapping along to Hip-Hop jams on video during a good workout session. He is also often photographed wearing headphones while practicing at the Lakers facility. Another artist that James supports and loves dearly is Eminem.
Now if y’all think this @Eminem “Kamikaze” album isn’t 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 you’re just hating and incompetent of lyrics/cadence/breakdown of his raps. Oh and he putting quite a few in a body bag too 💀! 😂 😂

One time, he went on a small Twitter rant defending all the criticism of Eminem’s “Kamikaze” release. He said, “Now if y’all think this @Eminem “Kamikaze” album isn’t fire, you’re just hating and incompetent of lyrics/cadence/breakdown of his raps. Oh and he putting quite a few in a body bag too.”
James was very vocal about his opinion of Eminem. There have been several times that the All-Star has used lyrics of Jay-Z and Nas to respond cryptically on Twitter.
