Terence Davis plays the shooting guard position for the Toronto Raptors and racked up 7.5 points per game in under 17 minutes last season. He made it to the All-NBA rookie second team along with Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro. Surprisingly he is not the only rookie charged with battery this season. Kendrick Nunn, who has made a mark in NBA with an exceptional performance in his first year with the Miami Heat, was also charged with assault by a woman before he was in the NBA.
Per Rick Westhead, NYPD arrested Terence Davis Tuesday night after a physical altercation with a woman. NYPD later identified that woman as Davis’ ex-girlfriend who came to visit him. Reportedly they were staying together at Beekman Towers in midtown Manhattan when the fight took place.

The reason behind the physical altercation is still unknown but it was brutal. What started as a verbal spat soon escalated into a physical fight and Davis landed a couple of punches on her face before the police arrived which led to swelling in her left eye. The fight escalated further when she refused to stop filming which enraged Terence. He grabbed her phone and shattered it according to the reports.
After the arrest, she was taken to the hospital, treated for the injuries, and released later.
