Michael Jordan is one of the most popular athletes in the NBA and the entire sporting industry. He is the wealthiest athlete on the face of the earth and is one of 15 athletes who are billionaires. The 6x NBA champion played a significant role in popularising the sport. He is loved by basketball fans all over the world, and his impact on the sport is irreplaceable. Not only that, Jordan also found success off the court with several business ventures.

Jordan has built several successful business ventures, with his deal with Nike being the top. Jordan is royalty in the sneaker industry with the Jordan Brand bringing him huge royalties through the sale of Jordan merchandise. However, not all love him, and Jordan is dragged into something dramatic. There is a controversy in which the Chicago Bulls legend is involved with other high-profile celebrities and organizations.

If I’m reading this right… The Rock, The Miz, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and others conspired to kidnap Rhaka Khan and her children?? That seems way far fetched @KlassicMike @ReBourneAgain @breakkerstreet @bigbird432 @kat_woman13 @DbWrasslin @JohnGarces @Jay371992 pic.twitter.com/bITfRLo0YI

Jordan has been named as a defendant in a $3 billion lawsuit, filed by former TNA and WWE wrestler, Rakha Khan. Also known as Trenesha Biggers, she has named Jordan as one of the culprits in conspiring to kidnap her and her children.  The 48-page lawsuit also contains big celebrities like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, The Miz, and others. Dwayne Johnson has denied having a part in the allegations.

As for His Airness, he has not responded to the allegations that are made against him. This is not the first time Jordan’s name is dragged down in the mud. He has not yet responded to the claims and does not look likely that he will. However, nothing can be said for certain, until the 5x MVP publicly addresses the allegations.

How is Michael Jordan involved in the $3 billion lawsuit?

The lawsuit was filed by Biggers last year in October 2022 and has been an active case since then. It was filed before the U. S. District Court, Southern District of New York. She claimed that kidnapping her children and herself was being conspired by the defendants. It was being conspired regarding the ongoing criminal case in Texas. With huge names from the wrestling industry being names made sense, however, Jordan is in the mix, but not that much.

Jordan’s name in being listed is still a mystery, and no evidence of his direct involvement can be traced. However, according to reports, one of the conspirators belonged to the Omega Psi Phi fraternity from North Carolina University. Jordan during his college years was allegedly a part of the fraternity. This is the only evidence gathered to list Jordan as one of the defendants.
