Recently, a video of LeBron James walking out of a leading healthcare facility went viral on Twitter. This seemed fairly unusual as the 4x NBA Champion is usually someone who is in tip-top shape. Over the last few years, concerns over his health and fitness came to an all-time high due to his age. However, that hasn’t stopped him from competing. As far as we know, James is alright and motivated to play basketball soon.
Besides LeBron, his eldest son, Bronny James is being closely monitored after he suffered from a cardiac arrest a few weeks ago. Bronny is the King’s most successful offspring who recently committed to the University of Southern California. He was bound to make his college debut later this year but it seems as if that will be out of the question for a while. Right now, the 18-year-old is recovering but medical professionals are still trying to point out the cause of the health scare.

In many cases, such health scares are very serious at this age. Several young athletes have lost the ability to play or compete at all. Shaquille O’Neal‘s son, Shareef is a prime example. He was once a top recruit in the United States, but unfortunately, his heart problems ended up being the reason he went undrafted. In reality, these issues aren’t something NBA teams want to deal with, especially if it will put athletes themselves at risk of anything major. Bronny’s future in basketball isn’t the topic of concern right now, however.
Fans react to LeBron James’ visit to Mayo Clinic
Earlier, a report from Sports Illustrated explained what Dr. Brian Sutterer analyzed on his YouTube channel. Sutterer is a trained medical professional who often examines injuries and health-related issues of athletes. He claimed that Bronny James’ career in basketball could potentially come to an end if doctors aren’t able to figure out the exact cause of his cardiac arrest. For LeBron James, this may eventually lead him to retire earlier than expected.
After the video of LeBron went viral, several fans began to speculate the reason behind the visit to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This facility is voted the best hospital in all of the United States and one of the bests for Cardiology. One fan said, “The best cardiologist hospital are in Cleveland and then LA.” Other fans were also fairly confused about why LeBron chose to visit Mayo Clinic.

While LeBron James could’ve been there for himself, it doesn’t rule out that the visit could’ve been for Bronny. Generally, when someone deals with a serious medical condition, it is normal to get multiple opinions from various practices. Sometimes, doctors themselves consult each other to formulate better theories or solutions to a problem. While fans continue to rumble online, the answer to these questions will eventually find its way out.
