Why Was Atlanta Hawks’ Star Trae Young Fined a Whopping $25,000 Against Chicago Bulls?

Following the win against Chicago Bulls on Sunday, 11 December, the Atlanta Hawks’ star, Trae Young was fined a whooping charge of $25,000. 

With the charges against him, Trae expressed his disappointment. 

But with a net worth of $6 Million, the fine does not seem to impact the NBA player financially.

Trae Young was fined because of his antics during the game

The reason behind the fine on Trae is quite simple and clear. During the game when the Hawks’ were at 122-12, Trae went for the winning shot. After the game ended with the buzzer, Trae who was standing just below the basket caught the ball in the air and then threw it at the stands. 

However, for many people, the incident can be just a faultless action with no intention to hurt.

With memes exploding, Trae did not seem to make any comments on it. Later, the Atlanta Hawks’ star took to Twitter stating that he will not celebrate because of the whole situation and was also sorry to his fans.
