yed LeBron James has cemented his status as one of the most influential athletes on the planet. The partnership with Nike has played a pivotal role in the 4x NBA champion achieving that after 20 years in the league. LeBron has collaborated with Nike to launch numerous signature shoes over the years, and he has also done it this year.

Nike unveiled the “LeBron 20” in October to the world this year. The other models were released later on. The reason for the name is pretty self-explanatory. It marks the remarkable evolution the LA Lakers star has made over the years. Nike’s lead designer for the signature line, Jason Petrie also let the world in on facts about the shoe. He said the “20” in the name of the shoe was to “Celebrate the next 20 years for LeBron.”
How much does the Nike LeBron 20 cost?
Nike launched the shoe at $200 for adult sizes earlier this year. However, as we have all seen with The King’s older signature shoes, the prices rise in the market afterward. The prices that resellers quote are more than $200.

The LeBron 20 also comes in the low-cut top model, the first of his signature line of shoes. In addition to that, the shoe is the lightest in his signature line, but it’s heavy enough for the wearer to have a tight grip. More importantly, it has been designed to fit LeBron’s playstyle perfectly.
Moreover, Nike and King James have worked together to pay a tribute to his first-ever signature shoe (Zoom Air) with the brand as well. Nike has conveyed the Zoom Air’s visuals through the collar lining, which includes the Nike Sphere. Together with that, Jason and Co. have also decided to bring back the ‘Dunkman’ logo, after 3 years of its release through the Nike LeBron 16s.

Together with that, Jason also said, “The stitched tag inside the tongue says, ‘Designed and Engineered to the Exact Specifications of the Next Generation’. We took that line seriously as we designed the shoe. We had players like LeBron’s sons Bronny and Bryce in mind. We wanted to get in their heads and learn about what young players were looking for.”
The shoe is a nod to LeBron’s history with Nike and the career he has had so far. However, at the same time, it also serves as what the next generation could be looking for.
Both Bronny and Bryce are extremely talented basketball players, and it looks like they had a part to play in their father’s latest signature shoe as well. With that said, James will most likely be wearing the Nike LeBron 20s for the rest of the season. If he manages to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record, the shoes might become even more special for the 4x MVP.
