LeBron Raymone James Jr., also known as Bronny James, is the eldest of future Hall of Famer LeBron James’ three children. Born on October 6, 2004, Bronny currently attends Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles. He plays basketball for his school and is also a representative member of the FaZe Clan, which is a gaming community.
Currently standing at 6 feet 3 inches, Bronny is a gifted athlete, which one might expect given that his father is one of the most gifted athletes of all time. Still just 18 years of age, he currently plays the point guard and shooting guard positions. He is known to have a smooth shooting stroke and his “poise” and “feel for the game” have been often appreciated.

Bronny spent his childhood with two younger siblings Bryce Maximum James and Zhuri James. He showed a deep interest in basketball from a young age. LeBron also allowed him to play soccer alongside basketball from a young age. He, however, discouraged him from playing sports like football and ice hockey, owing to physical safety concerns.
It is worth noting here that LeBron James himself played wide receiver for his school, St. Vincent-St. Mary. He even considered joining the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys during the NBA lockout in 2011, when they invited him for a workout.
Is Bronny James a millionaire?
Bronny’s yearly earnings are publicly not known yet due to the fact that he’s yet to turn pro. However, his net worth as of 2023 is rumored to be $10 million, making him one of the youngest millionaire athletes. His earnings primarily come from playing basketball for Sierra Canyon and running the FaZe Clan.
He is an avid gamer and streamer and joined FaZe in August 2020, making him the first basketball player still in high school to join the roster. Brooklyn Nets’ guard Ben Simmons is also a member of the clan. On Oct 10, 2022, Nike announced that they had signed Bronny, along with four other student-athletes, to a NIL deal, the financial details of which were not disclosed.

“For as long as I can remember, Nike has been a part of my family,” said James after signing the deal. “Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild- it really means a lot to me.”
As for basketball, by 2014, James was being featured in basketball highlight reels that drew national attention. He also competed with various AAU teams before high school and led the Gulf Coast Blue Chips AAU team to a fourth-grade championship at the League Dallas/Hype Sports Summer Jam.
He joined the AAU team Strive for Greatness at the under-16 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) in Indianapolis in April 2019, despite being younger than most of the opposition at age 14. There, he faced a lot of highly sought-after recruits and received accolades from scouts. He then transferred to Sierra Canyon School for his high schooling where as a freshman, he averaged 4.1 points in 15 minutes per game.
As for college, he has reportedly received interest from multiple universities, including Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA, and USC. On August 19, 2022, Bronny received an offer from Memphis. All that being said, the young stalwart has a long career ahead of him, with the guidance of an NBA legend by his side, who hopes to someday share the court with him.
