DK Metcalf is the new face of the NBA Celebrity Games of the All-Star Weekend. He put on a spectacular performance as he managed to help his team win. The celebrity game is a very exciting event where people spread across different fields of the working class come together and play basketball.
The All-Star Weekend kicked off with exciting appearances by Dwyane Wade and Ryan Smith who are both owners of the Utah Jazz franchise. They started off with a three-point shoutout face-off between each other. To everyone’s surprise, Smith scored more basketballs than the former NBA player. Wade was not too upset as the proceedings earned with every basket were for charity.
The former 3x Champion earned redemption with DK Metcalf leading the way with an 81-78 win over Smith’s roster. If there was one thing that caught the attention of the audience was Metcalf’s ability to cut to the rim and defend like a proper NBA player. The American Football player is widely recognized for his insane vertical leap that he had on display throughout.

DK Metcalf is an American Football Wide Receiver who plays for the NFL. The athlete is fairly new to the scene after only getting drafted in 2019. He has played for the Seattle Seahawks ever since. DK is unique in his own special way earning All-Pro honors in 2020 from the NFL.
The Seahawks star stands at six foot four inches tall which is close to the average height of an NBA point guard. He was still able to pull off slam dunks during the celebrity game like it was something out of the ordinary. This mainly is due to his incredible vertical leap which is 40.5 inches. Since being drafted, he has completed 306 receptions, 4,218 receiving yards, and 35 receiving touchdowns.
A video of DK Metcalf surfaced on the internet and went viral after he was seen jumping like gravity did not exist. Metcalf seemed to have caught major hang time during the jump to catch the ball. This was a major contributor to his mind-blowing performance during the celebrity game. He earned himself the honor of Celebrity Game MVP.

A part of the credit should also go to Giannis Antetokounmpo, who helped coach team Wade. The former 2x MVP is known for being a solid-rim attacker. DK Metcalf was enough to get Giannis a good victory for Team Wade and now, he will also be competing in the All-Star Game on Sunday.
