Los Angeles Lakers player Russell Westbrook’s wife Nina Earl is a businesswoman and a licensed therapist. Standing 6 feet tall she is also a former UCLA basketball player. Born on January 16, 1989, in Pomona California, Nina Earl is the daughter of Michael Earl and Jennifer Lyons. She completed her education at Diamond Ranch High School where she played basketball.

In 2003 and 2007, she led her high school basketball team to the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) games and won the MVP three times. In the game, she scored 35 points. After completing high school, she played basketball with the UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team. At the UCLA Bruins, Nina played a total of 124 games, scoring 675 points. 

Following this, she then went to the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated in Psychology and continued playing basketball. Apart from this she also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and holds a minor in English Literature. However, she currently owns ‘The Little Ark’ boutique in Oklahoma City that sells baby and mother-related items. Nina is also the founder and CEO of ‘Minibrook,’ a clothing line that is dedicated especially to kids.

Russell Westbrook and Nina Earl met each other for the first time when Nina was playing in the UCLA women’s basketball team and Russell in the men’s team. Following this, their relationship began after they completed college, and Russell was drafted into NBA by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Following this, on September 4, 2014, Russell proposed to Nina, and in 2015, the duo got married on August 29.

Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the ceremony saw basketball stars such as Kevin Durant and James Harden attending. Apart from this artists like Keri Hilson and Grammy award winner, Miguel gave a special performance.

Thus, the couple today has 3 kids, a son Noah, and two daughters, Skye and Jordyn. Both Russell and Nina with their kids are living a happy life with Russell continuing to play for the Lakers in NBA. Nina on the other hand is managing her business ventures related to children superbly.
