The Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2023, at the young age of 36. Even though it’s been well over a month since his death, the pro wrestling community continues to mourn the death of the iconic in-ring star and creative on-screen personality.
As a way of remembering Windham’s legacy forever, a 39-year-old WWE commentator has paid a heartfelt tribute that’ll live on forever. The personality is none other than popular broadcaster, and Bray’s close friend, Corey Graves.
The 39-year-old pro wrestling figure recently inked a touching tribute to the leader of The Wyatt Family, and it’s truly admirable. It was later revealed that Graves’ tattoo depicts The Fiend character holding his iconic lantern.

The news of Corey getting inked to pay a tribute to Wyatt got public after the tattoo artist shared a reel on his Instagram. It was the caption of the post that revealed that the WWE commentator got inked to pay respect to the late pro wrestling icon.
It must be noted that before Rotunda’s death, the 36-year-old suffered from health issues for a long time. Due to the same reason, he stayed away from WWE TV. But as rumors of his return were just starting to circulate, the news of his untimely death came out in late August, and devastated the entire community.
Corey Graves believes Bray Wyatt redefined stardom in WWE
The 39-year-old getting inked to show his respect for The Fiend isn’t the first time he’s showed love for Windham Rotunda. Graves previously also talked about the kind of influence Wyatt had throughout his career in the Triple H-led promotion.
Talking about the same, the star once praised the late pro wrestler for changing the meaning of popularity in the company. Corey shared that he believes Bray redefined the meaning of stardom in WWE. The broadcaster said this on the September 1 episode of After the Bell show, when Seth Rollins appeared as the special guest in the show.
While discussing the passing of the late Windham Rotunda, Graves went on to share how the iconic performer turned the meaning of being a star upside down. He stated, “He took the constructs of being a WWE Superstar and turned it on its head in a way that, I think, will be felt for years to come.”
Speaking further, the on-screen figure shared his belief that Bray was a guy who opened the door for a creative aspect that was never opened before. Corey’s comments about the late in-ring star are quite true, as Wyatt did wonders through his creativity in his journey with WWE. The Fiend still had a lot to achieve in, but his sudden death cut short his career.
