SUMMARY
- Aaron Rodgers made a controversial claim on the Pat McAfee show, suggesting that Jimmy Kimmel is linked to an Epstein list that will be announced soon.
- ESPN, the broadcasting network that aired the Pat McAfee show where Rodgers made the allegations, is facing criticism for allowing such serious claims to be made on its platform.
Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback of the New York Jets, turned out to be the biggest headache of ESPN. Recently, Rodgers made a bomb-blasting claim that Jimmy Kimmel is linked with the Epstein list that will be announced soon. Jimmy Kimmel is an American television personality and the host of the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show. As soon as Kimmel knew about Rodgers’s comments on him, he didn’t take too long to hit him back.
Besides giving a brutal response to the quarterback, he also threatens the player that he will take a legal step against him and will discuss the matter further in court. In the Pat McAfee show, the NFL star said, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out. I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I will be popping some sort of bottle.”
Rodger made this quote on the live show of Pat McAfee broadcast on ESPN and a channel owned by Disney, and he directly charged one of the best stars on the platform. Therefore, the situation looks too severe. ESPN has been having bad days since the beginning of the year. First, they apologized for showing b**bs of a woman live by mistake during broadcasting a Sugar Bowl fixture, and now the quarterback’s comments.
Julie K. Brown, an investigative journalist, criticized ESPN on X by stating, “Is ESPN also oblivious that the Jeffrey Epstein case is about the rape of young girls? It is shameful that the network allowed the exploitation of this tragedy for cheap political fodder.” Like Brown, few others take the matter seriously, and now the $24 Billion channel is in deep trouble after Rodgers’ meaningless allegation.
Pat McAfee thinks Aaron Rodgers was just ‘talking sh*t’
Like ESPN, Pat McAffe is also facing criticism and trouble due to Aaron Rodgers’s comments. McAffe apologized to everyone because of their involvement in the case and said he understood the situation and expected that both of them would solve the matter soon.
McAfee also reveals that his show allows individuals to talk freely and that creates breaking news but also maintains the law. To calm the heated situation, the host said Rodgers’s statements were “certainly, probably a s**-talk joke”.
McAfee said, “Some things obviously, people get very pissed off about, especially when they’re that serious of allegations. So, we apologize for being a part of it. Can’t wait to hear what Aaron has to say about it.”
He continues, “Hopefully, those two will just be able to settle this not court-wise, but be able to chitchat and move along.” Despite McAfee’s apology and effort to calm down the situation, it doesn’t seem to have any effect too soon as Kimmel is desperate to get answers from Rodgers for his attacking words.
