SUMMARY
- Despite numerous attempts by McMahon and other WWE stars in 2002, The Undertaker never performed the Spinaroonie.
- Beyond the typical boss-employee duo, Taker considers McMahon as a friend, father, and brother figure.
The Undertaker has taken his retirement from pro wrestling. Meanwhile, he still makes sporadic appearances on WWE television. However, he was previously an integral part of WWE and performed as a part of the Stamford-based promotion for 30 years.
Meanwhile, it seems even after 30 years of The Undertaker performing for WWE, Vince McMahon still carries a major regret. With that, it is to be noted that the regret is that Vince couldn’t convince Undertaker to perform a Spinaroonie in his career.
Previously in 2002, Triple H, Booker T, and The Rock tried to make The Undertaker perform a Spinaroonie. On top of that, Vince McMahon himself came down and performed a Spinaroonie. However, The Undertaker remained strict on his decision and didn’t deliver a Spinaroonie. With that, many years have passed by, but, according to Taker, Vince still talks about it.
Recently, The Deadman spoke on his Six Feet Under podcast. During that, talking about Vince’s regret he said, “Let me just say this, he’s ribbed me on so many occasions, and he’s got me really good, but he never got me to do that Spinaroonie. That’s the only carrot that I can hang on his head”.
Taker added that though it may sound silly, the fact that Vince couldn’t get Taker to perform a Spinaroonie bothers him till today. The Deadman mentioned that according to him Vince McMahon “lays awake at night thinking about it“.
With that, it now remains to be seen if Vince McMahon himself will have anything to comment on the matter. Also, since The Undertaker still makes sporadic appearances in WWE, it remains to be seen if someday he will finally change his decision and deliver a Spinaroonie much to the satisfaction of Vince McMahon and his beloved fans.
The Undertaker shed light on his relationship with Vince McMahon
The Undertaker recently stated that despite his 30-year-long career in WWE, Vince McMahon still carries a major regret. Listening to that, many fans might wonder about the relationship between McMahon and The Deadman. In that regard, it is worth mentioning that the WWE Hall of Famer previously shed light on his relationship with McMahon.
Previously, during the second episode of the Undertaker: The Last Ride documentary series, Taker was asked about his relationship with Vince McMahon. During that, The Deadman said that he loves Vince to death and would “take a bullet” for him.
Taker then added that McMahon plays various roles in his life. Besides being his boss, he is also his friend, dad, and brother. Thus, it seems Vince and Taker share a very special bond. However, it’s been a long time since the two giant personalities have made any appearance together. The fans of Taker will look forward to seeing him making an appearance with McMahon in the upcoming days.
