The Stamford-based wrestling promotion, WWE is all ready to make its presence felt in India soon, in the form of the much-awaited 2023 Superstar Spectacle event.
The WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event is all set to take place on September 8, 2023. The event will take place for the first time in the city of Hyderabad. It will take place at G.M.C Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India.
Several WWE superstars will be seen in action at the event. However, all these Superstars will be from the RAW brand division of the Stamford-based promotion. Until now, three matches have been scheduled to take place at the event.

In one match, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will face Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga) in a Tag team match. In another match, Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Championship against Natalya. However, the final bout scheduled will be a blast as it will feature two top superstars from WWE. They are none other than John Cena and Seth Rollins.
In the final match, the Leader of the Cenation and The Visionary will team up to face Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser of the Imperium in a tag team match. Thus, these are all the WWE superstars who will be fighting at the Superstar Spectacle event in India.

However apart from the mentioned superstars, several others have also been reported to make their presence felt at the live event. These include Becky Lynch, Bron Breakker, Matt Riddle, Shanky, and Drew McIntyre. However, whether they will be in action or not is yet to be known.
When was the last time WWE came to India?
It’s been a long time since WWE came to India. Previously Superstar Spectacle event took place in 2021, but it was not a live event. The event was taped and was later aired on television.
The last live event that took place in India was in December 2017. The event was named ‘WWE Live India Supershow’ and the Indian audience enjoyed the event from the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
At the previous live event, a blockbuster match took place. In the main event, the crowd watched eagerly as Triple H faced Jinder Mahal. After a top-notch bout, Hunter was the one who emerged victorious.
However, now once again, WWE is coming to its Indian audience. Several top-class superstars have been advertised for the event. It is now to be seen what happens at the live event, as fans in India will wait with high anticipation for the event to kick off.
