Brendan Allen is a 27-year-old American MMA fighter. Allen has secured the LFC middleweight champion title twice. After his contract with UFC, Allen competes in the welterweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight divisions. Allen owns an impressive record of 21-5.
In a recent clip that came out, Brendan Allen is seen passing a very crude and racist comment. In an interview with MMA Junkie, Allen is seen saying something that many people across the internet found offensive: “Don’t give a f*** about Africa yeah.” Although the clip seems to be a very small part of an interview, the few words he uttered have landed him in some serious trouble.
Look at this racist piece of trash. Brendan Allen is a racist and must be suspended by the UFC. How dare he say this @danawhite @seanshelby pic.twitter.com/3JY9IJGkeY

As a result, the internet has taken this very adversely. People are saying “Racism has no place in this great sport.” Allen is given names like ‘Racist piece of trash‘ and more. They are also tagging Dana White and requesting him to take some action.
Recently, a similar comment was passed by Colby Covington which was considered very racist. And as a response, Dana White said, “Everyone has their own beliefs, we don’t muzzle anyone here.” This came as a surprise to many as well.
What does UFC have in store for their African fighters?
Recently UFC has more and more African fighters to boast about. These fighters are some of the best in the world. The ‘Predator’ Ngannou, The ‘Nigerian Nightmmare’ Usman, and the ‘Last Stylebender’ Adesanya are the gems from Africa that UFC has. All three are significant contributors to the promotional company as they have amassed a great audience.
Adesanya holds a very impressive record of 24-2. Adesanya beautifully won the middleweight belt in 2023. He is all set to face off against Du Plessis, who is also an African fighter, in his next fight. Du Plessis has not recently lost any of his matches. He has a winning streak of 7. Hence, it will be a match to behold.

Although Francis is one of the greatest fighters in UFC, the possibility of him not being on the show again are very much high. UFC has been trying to negotiate a deal with him, but there is no response. So the UFC head Dana White said that he would not be on UFC ever again.
Whereas Kamaru Usman, the former welterweight title champ, has set up his identity in the welterweight division. But he will have to face the upcoming names like Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad. hence UFC has a lot of things planned for their talented fighters. Now it’s upon them to make their names count.
