Trish Stratus returned to WWE ahead of WrestleMania 39 to team up with Becky Lynch and Lita against Damage CTRL. The babyface team managed to win and then went on to reign on the tag team division in WWE as Lita and Lynch were the women’s tag team champions. However, things took a turn when the Hall of Famer was injured, and The Man had to team up with Stratus. The 47-year-old went on to betray Lynch.
In the ensuing feud between the two women, Stratus went on to insult Lynch’s daughter, calling her stupid. While the two-year-old could not return the insult, her mother emerged after a few weeks of absence to teach the Hall of Famer a lesson.

At the Night of Champions, the two behemoths of the industry faced off in an epic battle. This was Trish Stratus’ first singles match since SummerSlam 2019, where she faced Charlotte Flair. Stratus had a solid showing where she matched the younger Lynch step for step. The two women put on a startling show where they countered each other’s moves. Lynch countered multiple Stratusfaction attempts while Trish put her leg on the ropes from a manhandle slam.
Zoey Stark emerged from nowhere to assist Trish Stratus against Becky Lynch
After recently being drafted to the main roster from NXT, Stark emerged as a surprise ally for Trish Stratus. At the start of the show, there were murmurs that there was something going on underneath the ring, but few could have guessed it to be Zoey Stark. The former NXT star emerged from under the ring, to the surprise of many, to assist Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch as the referee was distracted.
She delivered a vicious blow to the multi-time women’s champion and had her reeling. Trish took advantage of the situation and delivered a Stratusfaction and pinned Lynch. This will further ignite the need for revenge in The Man as she failed to defeat the person who betrayed her and mocked her daughter.

Trish Stratus seems to have found a new ally in Stark, and it remains to be seen how their pairing will fare in the near future. The two women could be gearing up to not only take out Lynch and potentially a returning Lita but also to vie for the tag team titles. Exciting times lie ahead in the feud between Trish Strarus and Becky Lynch, as fans will undoubtedly be eager to see Lynch exact revenge on the Hall of Famer.
