As Lynch recently became a Grand Slam Champion, fans believe that she’ll hold the title for a significant amount of time. In the midst of speculations that she may enter WrestleMania 40 with the title, the NXT Women’s Champion has recently shared an interesting proposal for a match against Rhea Ripley on the event.
The Irish professional wrestler shared an exciting possibility for a match with The Eradicator at next year’s WrestleMania during a recent interview with USA Today. As Lynch was asked about her plans for The Show of Shows, she said that she wants it to be a grand one.

Talking about a possible opponent for The Grandest Stage of Them All, the 5’6″ tall performer brought up the name of Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Moreover, she enhanced the hype by saying, “Maybe it will be championship for championship, winner takes all. We’ll see.”
As the reigning NXT Women’s Champion shared her proposal for a title vs title match against Mami, fans have been elated. But as the mega event is still nearly seven months away, it remains to be seen if both of them can hold onto their respective titles, and even if they do, will they really be booked for a match?
Rhea Ripley is more than ready to go one-on-one against Becky Lynch
The Irish performer may have expressed her opinion on fighting Rhea Ripley quite recently, but Mami has already revealed that she’s ready to take down Becky. This happened during WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event, as The Eradicator shared her views about a match against Lynch in an interview during the tour.
When asked about a possible showdown against The Man, at WrestleMania 40, The Women’s World Champion revealed that she’s absolutely ready for it. Hailing the 36-year-old star for everything she has accomplished, Rhea shared that she believes Lynch is a future Hall of Famer.
Talking further about a possible match against the Irish-born performer, Ripley shared that she expects nothing less than a huge challenge from Seth Rollins’ wife. But The Eradicator said that Becky will be facing a whole different kind of challenge when she steps inside the ring with Mami.
“…and if it were to be myself and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, you know, I invite that challenge.”

At the end, the 26-year-old Australian star shared that she’d love to go one-on-one with Becky Lynch. But Rhea claimed that the she’ll end up the encounter as the victorious participant. With both of their excitement about a possible match, it remains to be seen if a match between them can really become a reality or not.
