CJ Stroud took over when Justin Fields left Ohio State for the NFL. They were really good, making it to the top teams in college football during their time at Ohio State. Stroud later joined Fields in the NFL after getting picked by the Houston Texans. Even though they both went to the same college, people keep comparing their skills to the pros. This isn’t great for Fields since he’s having a hard time with the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, Stroud just had a big win in the NFL.
Let’s go back to when the Chicago Bears chose Justin Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft. He had some great moments in his first two years, especially when he broke a record for running yards in a game, something no other quarterback had done before.
But it’s not all good news for Fields in the NFL. He’s had a tough time in his first 30 games. In the third week against the Kansas City Chiefs, he didn’t get many completions or yards. The Bears lost that game really badly, 41-10. This loss makes it 13 losses in a row for the Bears since Week 8 of the 2022 season. Even worse, Fields has only won five out of the 28 games he’s started for the Bears.
On the other side, CJ Stroud and the Texans had a great win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, winning 37-17. Stroud, who took over from Fields at Ohio State, did an amazing job in the game. He threw 20 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns, and he didn’t let the other team catch his throws.
In the first three games, Stroud made a lot of successful passes for 906 yards and four touchdowns. Stroud’s good completion rate of 64.5 is even better than Fields’ so far as 59.5 career rate. He led the Houston Texans to victory against a team that did well in the playoffs last year. His performances compelled a fan to write, “CJ Stroud came from the same coaches, same school, and he’s light-years ahead of Fields. Guess what? It happens. Some guys just don’t have it. And unfortunately, Fields doesn’t have it.”
#Bears QB Justin Fields told the media that the fix for the 0-3 Bears is winning a game in order to “Get this thing going”
“All we need is one to get this thing going… The Lions started 1-6 last year and almost made the playoffs.”
“Just keep that faith. Keep going. In the big… https://t.co/iWAlQlAglO pic.twitter.com/YsbEpp6XPF

The transition from college to the NFL has proven difficult for CJ Stroud and Justin Fields, although both went to Ohio State. Comparing them shows that success in college doesn’t always mean success in the NFL. We will have to eagerly wait for his career to understand his true potential and his real contribution and legacy to football.
Is Justin Fields and the Bears in trouble?
The Chicago Bears are in quite a mess these days. Their starting left tackle, Braxton Jones, is not playing protection on the sideline due to injury, leaving a weakness on Fields’ protection side. This is just a highlight of Chicago’s worrying situation.
Former defensive coordinator Alan Williams stepped down from the role after just two games due to health and family concerns. Head coach Matt Eberflus took command of the defensive play-by-play after Week 2, but unfortunately, it did not produce the desired results. Eberflus also passed up a chance to make a speech to the team after Williams’ departure.
In a gross acknowledgment, Justin Fields saw “coaching” as a factor in causing excessive thoughtfulness during games. The key players on the team are not on the same page, and it is important that they get together to spend time together so that they can salvage the season. Otherwise, should they consider their best chance at drafting Caleb Williams this coming year?
