It was announced previously that besides the matches scheduled at Payback 2023, a special segment would also take place. Grayson Waller would appear with a special version of ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ featuring WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes. Now it can be said that the talk show was indeed special.
The American Nightmare walked out and joined Waller inside the ring. After a brief interaction between the two, the youngster talked about Rhodes’ big announcement. Right then, the announcement took place and Cody Rhodes brought back Roman Reigns’ biggest nightmare in WWE. Rhodes introduced Jey Uso as a new member of the Monday Night Raw roster.

A few weeks ago Jey took a huge decision and announced his departure from the Stamford-based promotion. However, now the former AEW Star has successfully brought him back into the company. Jey’s return was totally unexpected and fans went crazy with his appearance.
Since the fan-favorite Uso walked out of the WWE, fans were speculating about the possibile timeframe of his return, however, nothing was confirmed. Now that he’s back in the company, fans are delighted and highly excited to know what his next move is going to be.
Will Jey Uso team up with Cody Rhodes to take on The Bloodline?
Jey Uso‘s homecoming received a warm welcome from the WWE Universe, however, there lies a twist with his arrival. He was previously a part of the SmackDown roster, but with his latest arrival, a brand change has been announced. Moving ahead, Jey will be seen on the red brand, WWE RAW.
Both Rhodes and Jey share a long history with Roman Reigns and now that Rhodes brought Jey back into the promotion, a lot of speculations have been making the rounds. According to the WWE Universe, Jey and Cody might team up to take on The Bloodline.

The sudden brand change has all the more given rise to such speculations. The Bloodline rules SmackDown, whereas Cody is a part of the RAW roster. As per the fans, it could only highlight Rhodes and Uso joining forces in the near future to take on their biggest rival, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
However, since the brand change took place recently, it’s unlikely that a feud with The Bloodline will be an immediate affair. Jey might face new opponents and engage himself in new rivalries before finally teaming up with Rhodes to take on the once most dominating stable if that happens.

It is to be seen what lies ahead for “Main Event” Jey Uso in the future. It is also to be seen if Cody Rhodes will have any role to play in it. Meanwhile, it is to be mentioned that The American Nightmare not only made Jey’s appearance special, but he made his own appearance special as well, which will be remembered by the WWE Universe for a long time.
