One of the most awaited matches at Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia was the Men’s Chamber matches where things started off with the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and LA Knight taking on each other fiercely. As the fans cheered hard during the match McIntyre did something which pissed off people.
During his bout with Knight fans were seen shouting “CM Punk” at the top of their voices and Drew seemed to be bothered about it. He suplexed LA and mocked the crowd mimicking the ‘Best in the world’ sleeping gesture as he does before delivering his finisher.

Drew was also going to deliver ‘Go To Sleep’ and had Knight on his shoulders but LA broke off from the move and freed himself. He then smashed McIntyre numerous times into different pods of other superstars like Kevin Owen and Logan Paul.
Fans reacted to his gesture and expressed their feelings on X where one of the fans wrote, “Cm Punk owns drew” Stressing that Punk is better than him. Another fan wrote, “I hope Cm Punk costs Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania!!” as he wished for the same to happen. One more fan wrote, “I need see CM Punk beat up Drew McIntyre.”
The fan wanted to see Punk beat McIntyre. Another fan wrote, “Drew McIntyre single handedly making everyone step up their hating game” and labeled him a great heel for taking up so much heat from the fans. McIntyre has previously mocked about injuring Punk on various occasions.

Punk wrote on his Instagram story, “Had a rough day mentally today. My heart and spirit are in Perth. Just a hard day staying positive and nobody wishes I was there performing for the fans more than me. Enjoy the show, appreciate you all.” and expressed his grief to the fans.
CM Punk has been one of the most loved and talked about superstars since his return to WWE after 10 years. He returned at the Survivor Series 2023 and took everyone by surprise. According to reports Punk was supposed to face Seth Rollins at Mania 40 but his injury changed the plans.
