Tony Ferguson and his wife Christina Ferguson had a turbulent few months in early 2019 as Tony’s mental health spiraled. Cristina believed that Tony’s alleged disturbed behavior stems from his win on “The Ultimate Fighter 13” in 2011. According to her, Tony’s behavior took a turn for the worse when he injured his knee during the fight. He was also forced to withdraw from a UFC 223 title fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Cristina claimed that Tony was prescribed an anti-psychotic medication, after his win at the “TUF” in 2011. His health showed improvement after they got married in 2012. However, in 2017, when he began drinking heavily, his issues started coming back.
In February 2019, his problems started getting extreme. According to MMA Junkie, Cristina wrote, “There are many frightening incidents which I have yet to list in this declaration. However, I have videos and photographs of (Tony Ferguson’s) frightening, irrational, and paranoid behavior, which depicts (him) crying, laughing, muttering, yelling, etc., for no apparent rational reason.”
Cristine Ferguson (wife of Tony Ferguson) has filed a restraining order against her husband after troubling news.
Updates include Tony not “sleeping for three days” and the fighter believing he has a “computer chip in his leg”.

According to a report by TMZ.com, Cristina stated in the restraining order, “(Ferguson’s) erratic behavior is getting worse and more frightening. I am afraid that during one of (his) episodes (he) will kill me, our son, and/or himself.”
Cristina later released a statement stating her husband “is a good husband and good father to our son,” and the restraining order is “part of a process to ensure that Tony will receive the help necessary to continue being the best possible, as well as to pursue his passion and career as a UFC champion fighter.”
Ferguson resumed his MMA career in April 2019 by when his wife had dropped the restraining order. However, recently, Tony Ferguson has found himself in another serious problem.
