The Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant is back from his suspension after flashing a gun at a nightclub. After being handed an initial 2-game suspension, Morant played his first game after missing out on 8 games. This comes after he joined a counseling program in Florida, to handle his mental health. He played his first game after suspension on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets.
Before Morant stepped on the court once again for the Grizzlies, he commented on a photo from his old Instagram account. His old Instagram account is @soexclusive12_, which has over 200K followers on it and contains a couple of selfies. He commented on the latest photo from the account, “Y’all funny ass hell, but its all love tho i appreciate all the laugh i love yall imma keep the account up just for yall,” Morant commented on his post.
With all the hate Morant has been receiving lately for his questionable actions, one fan sided with him. “How can y’all hate this man,” one Twitter user commented, when the conversation was posted on Twitter. Professional athletes are generally unable to respond to every comment they receive. However, Morant still remembers his user ID from an account created almost a decade ago and responded to a comment.

However, it is also quite interesting how Morant has decided to caption his posts. Nonetheless, all this happened a long time ago. With the incidents Morant has involved himself in he will be cautious to maintain professionalism on and off the court.
Ja Morant is back in action after missing 8 games for the Memphis Grizzlies
Morant missed out on 8 games for the Grizzlies after the gun-flashing incident. This made him face serious consequences from the Grizzlies organization which suspended their star guard indefinitely. However, Morant joined the Grizzlies back on Monday, however, they decided to hold him a little longer to get him back to his full strength. After everything was cleared, Morant played in the win against the Rockets on Wednesday night.
Morant came off the bench in the first quarter of the game, and he made it look as if he didn’t skip a game. He came out with a poster dunk on Rockets’ Kenyon Martin early in the 2nd quarter. This showing from the guard showed why he is one of the most electric players in the league.
He finished the game with 17 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds and played only 25 minutes. It’s a good thing Morant is back for the Grizzlies in the last stretch of games in the regular season.
