The UFC 294 card is stacked from top to bottom. This card is so good that even the preliminary card has a separate hype around it. One of the biggest reasons for this hype is the UFC debut of Sharabutdin Magomedov. The undefeated Russian prospect is set to make his debut against Bruno Silva. In the lead-up to UFC 294, Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis released a video where they raised some questions on ‘Shara Bullet’.
Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis dropped a video in which they were breaking down the UFC 294 card. However, when the duo saw the first fight in the preliminary card, they had a lot to say about Sharabutdin. Strickland started the conversation by saying that Bruno Silva is fighting with the “one-eyed bandit“.
“He’s fighting the one-eyed Russian which I’m honestly really curious about, how you can fight with one eye?” said Curtis. The middleweight champion went on to say that he is only interested in Bruno as he has zero ideas about the “one-eyed bandit“. Furthermore, ‘The Action Man’ expressed his confusion on the matter by saying, “He’s got one eye, how is that legal?”
It will be interesting to see if ‘Shara Bullet’ decides to react to the comments of Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis. Furthermore, Strickland predicted that Bruno Silva would defeat Sharabutdin Magamedov.
How did Sharabutdin Magomedov lose his right eye?
Before entering the world of MMA, ‘Shara Bullet’ was a successful kickboxer, but his life had a turning point in the early days of his career. He suffered a severe injury to his right eye, which required a total of eight surgeries. Because of this incident, Sharabutdin had to miss two years of MMA training.
He has also talked about the painful surgery procedure where he could feel everything even after the administration of anesthesia. He had to go through this procedure eight times, but sadly, none of the surgeries were able to save his right eye.
Even a horrific injury like this one could not stop Sharabutdin from achieving success in the world of MMA. Currently, he has 11 wins and 0 losses, with 10 of his fights ending via knockout. He is known for throwing a variety of kicks from different angles that leave his opponent guessing his next move.
Sharabutdin will be making his UFC debut against Brazilian knockout artist Bruno Silva. Silva (23-9-0) has had 20 knockouts throughout his career. This match will be a very tough test for ‘Shara Bullet’. Do you think Sharabutdin Magomedov will survive in the UFC? Let us know in the comments below.
