The Tony Khan-led promotion, AEW, has established itself very well as a professional wrestling promotion. However, the company has often faced criticism from several prominent personalities. Meanwhile, a WWE veteran has never backed off from publicly trashing AEW.

Apart from that, during another interview, he called AEW storylines “horrible.” He said that they are meant for “8-year-olds.” In addition to that, there are several other instances of Bischoff taking shots at the Tony Khan-led promotion. Thus, it can be understood that he never missed an opportunity to trash the company publicly.

Tony Khan recently made an appearance on K&C Masterpiece. During that, he shared his thoughts about Bischoff and said, “There haven’t been that many wrestling companies that have risen to international prominance. There aren’t that many wrestling companies in modern history that have sold tens of thousands of tickets and hundreds of thousands pay-per-views. In that sense, Eric and I do have something in common.”
He added that he respects Bischoff’s accomplishments. Khan said that he respects what Eric accomplished with WCW and called it a great company. He then said, “In that sense, I do respect him.”
